The Salon Tech Guide is an independent resource for salon, spa, and beauty business owners comparing booking and management software. We publish honest, research-first comparisons and reviews to help you choose the right platform for your business — without the marketing fluff.

How we research

Every price and feature we publish is checked directly against the provider’s official pricing and documentation pages at the time of writing — never copied from other comparison sites. Software pricing and features change often, so we note the verification date on every article and revisit our numbers periodically.

Wherever a platform allows it, we sign up for a free trial and test the software hands-on — setting up a calendar, adding staff, exploring the booking flow — before writing about it. When we haven’t been able to test a platform hands-on (for example, due to regional availability restrictions), we say so explicitly in the article rather than implying first-hand experience we don’t have.
